Staying near a place to walk, eat outdoors and spend time by the sea makes a holiday with your dog in Çeşme easier. You can return to the room for a break without arranging another long drive. Before choosing a hotel, look at the nearby beach and restaurants too.
What does “pets welcome” include?
A hotel may welcome your dog in the bedroom but have different rules for breakfast, the restaurant or the beach. If you picture having breakfast together on the terrace, ask about that when booking.
The hotel will need to know your dog’s weight and how many dogs are coming. Any extra charge should be clear before you reserve, including whether it covers one night or the whole stay.
Allows dogs up to 7 kg in rooms and on terraces under supervision, but not on the beach or in other indoor areas. Assistance dogs are an exception.
Beach access does not always include swimming. If you want your dog to join you in the water, ask specifically before reserving.

A room with an easy way outside
A ground-floor room opening onto a garden can save repeated trips up the stairs. For an older or larger dog, the lift and the route from the room to the street are worth knowing about. Our Çeşme accommodation guide compares areas for beach days and evenings out.
If you plan to go out without your dog, check whether the hotel permits dogs to stay alone in the room. Policies differ between properties.
Shade, water and a shorter beach day
Bring drinking water, a bowl, a lead, waste bags and a towel. As the shade moves during the day, your dog needs somewhere beside you to rest. A beach near your accommodation makes it easier to leave for an afternoon break. The Çeşme beach guide covers the different stretches of coast.

Dinner nearby
When reserving a restaurant terrace, mention that your dog is coming. A table away from the entrance and the waiters’ route gives it room to lie down beside you.
For an evening walking around Alaçatı, eating nearby means you can continue on foot after dinner. If you need a taxi, tell the driver about your dog when you book.
