Beyond the beach, the peninsula is built around the water: boat days out to the coves, windsurfing in the shallow bays, diving off the northern coast, and a landscape of vineyards and low hills to drive through. On land there is Erythrai at Ildır, the castle in Çeşme town, and enough village walking to fill a morning. Most activities are seasonal and weather-dependent.
