Before driving into Alaçatı, choose where to leave the car and how to reach your final address on foot. A hotel or restaurant pin is not necessarily a usable vehicle entrance. Asking for parking directions in advance is especially worthwhile when you have luggage, young children or a late check-in.

The four municipal car parks

ÇEŞTUR’s official list identifies these Alaçatı facilities:

Car parkName to search on your mapWhat to check
Alaçatı Açık OtoparkAlaçatı Açık OtoparkThe walking route to your actual destination
Alaçatı Kapalı OtoparkAlaçatı Kapalı OtoparkAny vehicle-height or other special requirement
Alaçatı Kulüp Baba OtoparkAlaçatı Kulüp Baba OtoparkThe car-park pin rather than a neighbouring business
Alaçatı Pazaryeri OtoparkAlaçatı Pazaryeri OtoparkAccess and operation during the Saturday market

This is a list of facilities, not a live availability feed. Walking time depends on your destination. The operator’s official parking page includes map links to help identify the correct entrances.

How much does parking cost?

The following standard tariff was visible on 22 October 2026. The page does not give a separate effective date, so these are not guaranteed prices for a future season. It states that the first 15 minutes are free.

1–3 hoursTRY 180
3–6 hoursTRY 225

ÇEŞTUR publishes this as a common tariff for its car parks. It does not establish the price at a private facility. Check the duration band for an evening visit rather than multiplying the first-hour figure by the number of hours you intend to stay.

There is a separate ÇeşmeKart arrangement, including the first four hours free and discounted charges. Eligibility and the way time is calculated need confirmation with the operator. Visitors without an applicable card should budget using the standard tariff.

Bring a payment card

The operator says its car parks accept credit or debit cards only. Do not extend that rule to every private car park in Alaçatı. Read the entrance board and payment instructions before leaving the vehicle. Keep any entry ticket until you return.

For a rental car, save a photograph of the number plate so it is easy to identify at payment or when asking for assistance. Drop a map pin for the parked car, particularly if you plan to explore several streets before coming back.

Arriving for the Saturday market

Alaçatı’s market takes place on Saturdays. A facility called Pazaryeri Otopark does not prove that the same entrance and capacity apply throughout market hours. Follow current signs and barriers rather than continuing along an outdated navigation route.

If you plan to buy produce or carry heavy bags, consider the walk back as well as the walk in. The Saturday market guide covers the visit itself.

Staying overnight? Ask the hotel first

Find out whether parking is on the property or at a separate partner facility, whether it is included in the room price and whether a space is reserved. A hotel’s complimentary parking arrangement may apply only to overnight guests.

Ask where to unload luggage, whether arrival restrictions apply and how to reach reception from the car park. Do not use the hotel’s map pin as proof that you can drive to its door. The Çeşme accommodation guide helps if you are still choosing a base.

Do you need to drive in every evening?

If you sleep in central Alaçatı and spend the evening nearby, leaving the car parked may be the simplest choice. Coming from Ilıca or Çeşme town, compare a taxi or public transport with parking, including the return service. Arrange a non-driving return if you will drink alcohol with dinner.

Our local transport guide and car-free holiday guide explain the alternatives. Once parked, use the Alaçatı streets guide to plan the walk rather than searching for another vehicle route through the centre.

Practical Notes

Navigate to a named car park rather than simply Alaçatı. Save its location and your registration number. Overnight guests should ask their hotel about parking and luggage drop-off first.
