The place
Bumba Breakfast Club does not treat breakfast as the opening chapter of an all-day café menu; breakfast is the entire reason to come.
The table begins with the familiar grammar of a Turkish spread — cheeses, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, tahini and molasses — then becomes more individual through dishes such as pişi, lutenitsa, sweet curd with blackberry jam, milk caramel and eggs with herbs or a tomato-walnut mixture. That balance matters: there is enough abundance for the meal to feel celebratory, but the personality comes from the smaller house combinations rather than sheer quantity.
The leafy garden keeps the pace slow, and the turtles regularly mentioned by recent guests have become an unexpectedly memorable part of the setting. Bumba is particularly easy for families because a children's breakfast is available, while much of the main breakfast is vegetarian and some items can be adapted gluten-free on request. The practical rule is simple: there are no reservations. Tables are assigned on arrival, so early mornings are the better choice on busy summer days.
