Dalyan

Dalyan is a small harbour village north of Çeşme town where boats still tie up in front of the restaurants. The setting is modest — a quay, a row of tables, masts and water — and the food is the reason to make the drive. Dinner follows the Aegean order: cold mezze first, then whatever came in that day, grilled or salted, with rakı or a local white. Service is unhurried, the noise level is conversation rather than music, and the crowd is more local than the coast strip.
