Çiftlikköy

Çiftlikköy lies on the western side of the Çeşme peninsula and has a calmer, more residential feel than Alaçatı or central Çeşme. The waterfront and village centre are closely associated with seafood restaurants, making the area a popular choice for a relaxed dinner by the sea.

One of the main reasons to base yourself here is access to the beaches along Çeşme’s south-western coast. Pırlanta Beach is in the Çiftlikköy area and is known for its broad sandy shore, shallow water and regular wind. The conditions also make this part of the coast popular with kitesurfers.

Altınkum is another of the best-known beaches nearby. Facing the open Aegean, it is particularly recognisable for its pale sand and noticeably cooler water compared with some of Çeşme’s more sheltered bays.

A day in Çiftlikköy can be straightforward: spend the morning or afternoon at Pırlanta or Altınkum, then return towards the village for dinner. If you want a busier evening afterwards, central Çeşme is still close enough to reach without turning the day into a long journey.

The area is generally less crowded and less nightlife-focused than Alaçatı or Ayayorgi. It suits travellers who want to stay near the sea, explore the western beaches and have quieter evenings without being too far from the centre of Çeşme.
