Three days on the peninsula
How to spend a first visit without spending it in the car: one bay, one town, one long dinner per day.

Çeşme
A working fishing harbour that turns into the peninsula's most reliable seafood dinner.
Über das Gebiet
Dalyan is a small harbour village north of Çeşme town where boats still tie up in front of the restaurants. The setting is modest — a quay, a row of tables, masts and water — and the food is the reason to make the drive.
Dinner follows the Aegean order: cold mezze first, then whatever came in that day, grilled or salted, with rakı or a local white. Service is unhurried, the noise level is conversation rather than music, and the crowd is more local than the coast strip.
It suits travellers who want one long, good dinner by the water without a beach-club soundtrack. Also worth a walk before sunset, when the harbour is at its best.

Çeşme · Beaches
The peninsula has sand on one side and rock on the other. Which you want depends on the day you have in mind.

Çeşme · Eating
The village has more restaurants per street than anywhere on the peninsula. A little structure helps.
